The latest Burgess sheeter
draws on over forty years of experience. All possible refinements are
combined with robust construction.
Two top rolls with greatly
increased diameters and made from heavy wall stainless steel tube reduce
bridging of very short or tough raw materials in the hopper to the practical
minimum. The bottom roll is larger still and has a thicker wall.
Breakage of roll shafts has
been guarded against by enlarging the shaft diameters but still using
hardened and tempered stainless steel, a feature unique to Burgess.
Twin drives with
heavy duty gears and duplex chain remain standard.

All guards are
to British/European Standard EN 294:1992 dimensions and switched to
stop the sheeter of disturbed while the machine is operational.
